Abstract

The research mainly aimed to determine the impact of training workers in human capital in its dimensions (capabilities, skills, experience) in banks listed on the Damascus Stock Exchange, where the researcher followed the descriptive analytical approach in his study, and a set of methods, including relying on secondary and primary data through a questionnaire that was designed and distributed to (117) respondents, from which (110) were retrieved, and (103) questionnaires were valid for analysis The research community consisted of a cadre of workers in banks listed on the Damascus Stock Exchange (branch manager, department heads, division heads, and employees), and then SPSS was relied upon as a tool for analyzing the available data. The research reached results that included: The correlation coefficient between employee training and human capital was 0.776, indicating a strong correlation between employee training and human capital. The coefficient of determination was 0.603, meaning that 60.3% of changes in human capital follow changes in employee training, while 39.7% of changes are due to other factors such as incentives, the physical environment, and other factors that were not included in this study Therefore, it can be emphasized that employee training has a moral impact on enhancing human capital. Therefore, competent trainers with appropriate qualifications are selected to cover training programs, contributing to the development of human capital and the achievement of desired goals .
